The Association of Theater Owners opens a division for the release and promotion of films
The Association of Cinema Owners (AVK) opens a division for the release and promotion of films – AVK’PRO. It will be headed by Roman Isaev, the press service reports.
“We are pleased to announce the creation of the AVK’PRO structure, which will help producers and copyright holders bring their content to AVK movie screens as quickly, efficiently and directly as possible,” the message says.
The press release states that now the Association’s cinemas “generate more than half of the box office in the Russian Federation”, and also “know their audience best of all and understand what content they need.”
AVK’PRO is already negotiating with a number of producers and copyright holders, an agreement on some projects has been reached. In the near future, they will publish a release plan for the unit for several months.
“The AVK’PRO team includes both active members of the association and partners – members of the Russian film industry. The painting of sites that are not part of AVK, as well as a number of organizational processes will be carried out by TenLetters, a strategic partner of AVK’PRO,” says the press service.
Roman Isaev is a member of AVK, the head of the Russian representative office of Сomscore Corporation.
